Hajj Bulletin board
We have put together a few files for a Hajj bulletin board at the last minute. We apologize for not posting them sooner, but with our demanding schedules we were not able to expedite sooner.
We will post pictures as soon as we are able insha Allah. In the meantime, Enjoy the files and throw your bulletin boards together for your children to learn all about Hajj insha Allah.
The first of our files is the border/trimmer to go around your bulletin board. There are two different ones for you to use. Alternate between the two or use one to surround your visual teaching aid. It’s all your choice!

Below is the second border/trimmer:

Du’a Bulletin Board
Du’a is important to us as Muslims since it’s a form of worship.
We have found a great idea to reinforce/teach children to make du’a frequently through out the day, insha Allah.
We have two different layouts/board displays to share with you to help you get those wheels turning, insha Allah.
Layout 1
The first display is the traditional bulletin board layout with border that surrounds the board and contents to fill the inner board with the beneficial reminders and tools to help keep on track with du’a,insha Allah.

We have also included the files to the specific Islamic Bulletin Boards to make building your board much easier.
Use some or all, it’s up to you!

File for Reminders for Making Du’a: Reminders for making du’a
The Daily Du’a tracker and the Du’a cards at the bottom of the bulletin board. The du’a cards are in a clear pocket made out of plastic protective sheet covers that you can buy at your local office supply store or another idea can be to use plastic storage bags if you want the same look.

Layout 2
Umm Ibrahim here, this is our version of the bulletin board. I am so not as artistic as my bud, Umm Abdul Basir, so this is a much simpler, less artistic version, but masha Allah, the board is in use and has been so handy right from the start!
I haven’t been able to get a lot of school supplies yet after our last move (this summer), and am needing to conserve on the printer ink for the present, so I opted not to include the wonderful border. Its hard to see but the items I have included are as follows:
The awesome duaa cards (so many uses: matching activity, flashcards, memory aids, so do check those out even if you don’t do a board
Reminders for making duaa (in the top middle). We make it a point to try to make duaas in the last hour of Jumuah (Friday) and so this is a handy reminder. We don’t make the duaas together, but I will call the kids and tell them time to make duaas. So now, I have this section of the board to quickly go over before they go off on their own to make duaas. One thing I has started to do, was to have them take a quick little “minute” just at some point of the day (like in the evening) and sit down and make duaa. So they look at the board to make sure they do as many of the things in the reminder section as they can.
Best times for making duaa
Duaa Tracker
Duaas to make – In this section, I have the little scroll on which we can jot down duaas that we want to make. In addition to the scroll, we have some premade mini scrolls which have a picture and a generic duaa (such as heal _______; reminding us to make duaa for someone sick; preserve our health, give us _______________; give us Jannah, etc. These were made to encourage us to not just make duaa for material things, I guess you can call them “duaa prompts“
Dua is Worship Banner
And that’s our board, masha Allah.
It really helps to keep us on track as well as make the drab wall more appealing, masha Allah.
