Hijri Classroom Wall Calendar

We told you all that we have been busy! Masha Allah.
We saw how much you all loved the Ramadan moon Calendar that we decided to make a calendar you all could use all year long in your classrooms!
Teaching our children the Hijri months can be fun with this interactive classroom wall calendar.
We have headers, movable numbers in Arabic and the whole calendar template for you to customize and make your own!
We recommend printing everything on cardstock and laminating for durability!
First is the Calendar, you will have to match the pages up after printing! This is what it should look like once you have trimmed some edges and put together.
For the number tiles you can add a piece of velcro so it will be easy to change position each month.
Here is one of the number tiles:

Sample of what the Headers look like:

Arabic Weather Wheel
It’s Been awhile since we have been able to add anything new to the blog! Busy lives! Masha Allah.
In additions to our Arabic Alphabet strip for your classroom, we have also put together a nice sized weather wheel!

This wheel would be put together the same as our fasting wheel. Match the pages up and add your arrow. Laminating can also be a good idea as it would be used daily, insha Allah

This will be the first of our Arabic series, stay tuned as we will be adding more, insha Allah until our arabic bulletin board is complete!

Things That Break or Nullify the Fast Addition
Ooops! We forgot to add the file for “The things that break of Nullify the fast”

This is the header, you can do as we did in our Ramadan bulletin board and make it a mobile addition to your board or just lay it out on the board.

2 things that break the fast!
We have 2 files to offer for this addition:
What Breaks the Fast File:
Color Black & White Enjoy Making, displaying and teaching with your Ramadan Bulletin Boards!Ramadan Bulletin Board from IBB
We all have been so busy preparing everything for the start of Ramadan. I sure hope you have started your bulletin boards for the month!
We have done ours and it’s ready for the welcoming of Ramadan and ready for the little ones to start increasing good deeds and increasing their worship to Allah, insha Allah.

We made the “Things that nullify or break the fast” a mobile type thing

This is such a fun fasting cycle. printed on cardstock but then reinforced on a piece of cardboard. Since brass fasteners wouldn’t hold it , we used a small nut and bolt to hold it together. We can also take it off the board and use it that way!

We cut slits at the top of the numbers and slid the moon card in so we would be able to use again insha Allah. This is a poster sized calendar so we used clear packing tape to “laminate” it. You can also use contact paper or take to your local office supply store and have them laminate.

Ramadan Bulletin Board Additions!
Na’am! Not only did we have Ramadan Borders to offer this year, but we also have a few additions insha Allah!
We want you to get the most out of your Ramadan, but we also want our children to as well.
Bulletin boards are an attractive way to teach our children as we already know.
This year we have upsized our Bulletin board additions!
First, we like to teach our kids about the phases of the moon. This is an important lesson as we have to sight the moon in order to start and end Ramadan ,insha Allah.
How about a calendar to track the days of Ramadan and the phases of the moon?
This is an interactive calendar that not only does that, but also has fun moon facts to help familiarize your child with moon knowledge, insha Allah. Have your child color the calendar in and have fun reading the facts and hadith!

There are a few different versions of this calendar
Arabic numbers:Ramdan Moon Calendararabic English numbers:Large Ramadan Calendar Arabic/English numbers:Ramdan Moon Calendar English/Arabic Next is the fasting day cycle, another interactive addtions to your bulletin board. This is really a good aid for younger children who do not yet fast. This cycle takes us through some of the actions a fasting person performs throughout their day. Your student can change the cycle as each action has been performed, insha Allah.
This is the black and white version of the cycle. This is how it will look once it’s assembled.
Here are the two pieces separate so you can see how it all comes together:

The bottom half where the child will turn to see the different action performed throughout a fasting day, insha Allah

This is the top part with the window section that will display each action as the wheel is turned. To connect the pieces you will use a brass fastener.
While assembling you will have to match the pieces together and will also have to cut some excess off to have it really truly match. We took pictures to show you how it does in fact come together, so don’t get discouraged! *smile*
Here is the cycle after it has been colored in:

We also have charts to add to your Ramadan bulletin boards this year. How much more fun can we make it? Interactive charts! Our first chart is the Good Deed Chart, which will track the good deeds your child does during the blessed month of Ramadan. This chart is more for practice while our children are young. It is not a “show off” type thing, but more of an encouragement or teaching them while they are young to practice and perform as many good deeds as they can, insha Allah.
This is what the chart should look like once assembled, insha Allah.

IBB’s Allah Created Insects Bulletin Board
Spring has come and with spring comes many new little creatures to explore in and out of our classrooms.
Teaching and reinforcing that all creatures on earth have been created from Allah is extremely important.
Here we have a basic bulletin board that displays many insects that Allah has created. What a great way to learn and have fun at the same time.
In this board you can see we made a tree, fence, grass, and a sign to add for our insects!
Paper Bags were used for the tree trunk & branches Construction paper for the leaves of the tree construction paper for the grass cardboard covered with construction paper to make the signWe usually try to make our bulletin boards from everyday materials we have in our classroom/homes
The border we printed on white paper
The top of the tree with the bee hive
The butterflies inside their chrysalis on top of the tree
The paper bag tree trunk with a walking stick and spider with web on it.
The “Welcome to the Butterfly Gardern” sign
The fireflies
The mosquito
Ladybugs on the white picket fence
The ants made out of paper eggs carton
The dragonflies made from popsicle sticks
The Praying Mantis watching over the garden.
This is a great way to introduce Allah’s creation to your class. Most children love to learn about insects and explore what they do.
Each insect craft you do is a lesson you can teach about what they do and how Allah created them.
Please share your “Allah created Insects” bulletin board today!
